That aside, I wonder if they will develop the crime investigation side well. The basis is completely perfect, but they can always screw it up. Especially if they have a problem with the pacing, or if the author has been trying to squeeze the concept dry by not having a specified frame and end for the story.
Worries about the future are one thing, but... well, not even one of the characters was a sock puppet. It made quite the nice impression. Everybody felt like a real person with complexities. And, for some reason, the word that is on the tip of my tongue for describing this anime is "organic".
In other words, I like this shit.
