Any try for drama in this anime is either laughable or irritating.

Actually, you can pinpoint which is which easily: if they start moralfagging, it's irritating; if they try to show how all the suffering made Kotoura have a bad character, it's fucking hilarious.

But, well... the scene between the main guy and his stalker was disgusting. I mean, heck, that was all in all two lines of script? If this was a parody show, it would have been ok, but that didn't seem like a parody. After all, isn't the stalker part of the main cast? Besides, I hate just explaining every bad decision in a show with "it's a parody". If it's a parody, it's doing a poor job. They should have just kept showing how much exactly had Kotoura degraded over the years, but with bonus lampshading the fact that they are doing so. I would have enjoyed the hell out of such show.

Carmina Burana

O Fortuna,
like the moon
you are changeable,
ever waxing
and waning;
hateful life
first oppresses
and then soothes
as fancy takes it;
and power
it melts them like ice.

Fate – monstrous
and empty,
you whirling wheel,
you are malevolent,
well-being is vain
and always fades to nothing,
and veiled
you plague me too;
now through the game
I bring my bare back
to your villainy.

Fate is against me
in health
and virtue,
driven on
and weighted down,
always enslaved.
So at this hour
without delay
pluck the vibrating strings;
since Fate
strikes down the strong man,
everyone weep with me!

And I saw it. In those eyes filled with tears, there was affection, longing,
sadness, anger, hatred, joy, and hesitation. Amidst that overwhelming flurry
of emotions, a smile rose to her face as she said to me,
"――――It's been a long time, Taka."
Even a dense idiot with a terrible memory like me could clearly tell that the
amount of time behind her words was not a mere week, but a full 10 years.
The End.
Time to finish up these translated novels. Even tho the translation is goddamn awful.

Drugs and chocolate and chocolate

Did anyone notice that he gets given a mushroom before everything starts going trippy? There's also a lot of mushroom imagery in the OP too.
Also to add to this, whenever I take mushrooms I always notice small things, like writing and stuff that seems connected and brings on a small sense of paranoia (Similar to when Sasami starts seeing the word 'Choco' everywhere). Then suddenly my trip explodes into bizzare dripping dali-esque visuals and general psychedelic experiences, very similar to how the chocolate floods everywhere and suddenly everyone starts acting bizzarely out of character.

Also the fact that when tripping, surfaces seem to seem almost like liquid as if they are dripping or made of a strange material...the overly saturated colors seem very reminiscent of a mushroom or LSD trip too. I know Japan is reasonably familiar with magic mushrooms as they've taken them for centuries and they weren't made illegal until 2002 or 2003.

Just observations.
Mmmhm, I think that's kind of important to remember.

Thoughts during the seco... third? season

>Hosaka has the honorable title of "Curry Fairy" received from Chiaki
>Chiaki has to approve the ones worthy of getting Haruka
Hosaka end confirmed?

It's scary how numbering goes "1, 3, 4..."

You feel like there should be something in between one and three, but... no matter what... all you can remember are the winter trees.

For question 14 you chose to watch the show RAW because sub choices suck
For question 15 you chose Commie
For question 16 you chose Commie
For question 17 you chose Commie
For question 18 you chose pem
For question 19 you chose UTW-Mazui

I am... kind of surprised UTW-Mazui got even one in. I had failed to note a line where I don't prefer Commie/pem before taking this test. I should check this in the episode...

...and yeah, seems like the last line is way too pretentious to be fit by what UTW-Mazui has written. Better flowing? Yeah. Emphasized enough? Hell no.

So, 13 for Commie, 4 for pem, and 2 for "all suck way too much".

Law of Conservaton of Energy

Whahuh, but, wha, no, it ended, wait, that was too beautiful, no, there is no way in real life a manga can end this beautiful, also, no, I, expected? to see Husky reacting to Medley's threads... that gave me hope, no, not hope... safety? that the manga is still not over and there is more to happen. That end was way too abrupt, now I feel that the roller coaster of... what, roller coaster? it was a straight up ride... of emotions was way too high, and there was no release... no release of all that potential energy, leaving it all built up in me, in my soul. Energy, that...

Do I even make sense?

Look Up and Believe in the Future.

Anime of the Year. Despite its many flaws, that was a ride I could never forget.

Cheers, /a/

Cheers for the hope 2013 will possibly present us with one, new story of that caliber. Just one? Such gems are so rare...

Cheers for MM. Cheers for Kansai.

And cheers for our unchanging friendship. As sappy as this may sound.
