Re: Doga Kobo

The opening of Kamen no Maid Girl is typical Doga Kobo fare... but the rest of the episode isn't. I haven't seen such faces in their works up to now
But, what's more, the picture is no longer fluid and with a bubblegum-like plasticity. It frays when it needs to fray.

Doga Kobo have gone all the way back to the simpler times of animation, while retaining the signature overabundance of movement. Good.
And... to bookend this, the above is best demonstrated in the ending.

P.S. This anime is good.
